Maintenance of bearings
* Recommend professional bike work shop rebuild .
* Normally do not need remove bottom bracket from bike frame.
* Please follow the recommend maintenance instruction
Please follow the steps to maintain the bottom bracket for a longer lasting use.
1. Remove the black plastic side cover of the bottom bracket.
2. Clean the bearing surface.
3. Remove the rubber side cover from the bearing with a knife or thin sheet.
4. Use industrial alcohol to clean bearing rollers and cages.
5. After cleaning, please fully inject the bearing grease into the bearing to fill all the gaps.
6. Reset the rubber cover , and then coat the outer surface of the bearing with waterproof grease.
7. Reset the black plastic cover of the bottom bracket and apply waterproof grease to the surface of the side cover.
8.Complete the maintenance.
When to maintain
Riding in wet and muddy conditions requires bearing maintenance every 1000-3000 kms
Riding in a clean and dry environment requires maintenance every 5,000 kms
